Heritage Breeds have unique characteristics and bring to a farm a sense of pride in our history and our farming heritage.
We have a few of these breeds, the Ancona, the Speckled Sussex,
the Buff Orpington, and the Araucana.
Traditional livestock breeds that are an essential part of our American agricultural inheritance.
Ancona
Anconas are small black and white birds that average 4½ lbs. They lay white eggs and are very active and energetic
making them good foragers. They are on the threatened list

We feed our chickens certified organic feed. However, they are free range and follow around after the goats, cow and horses who are fed alfalfa and grass hay that is not organic. Please
contact us if you are ready for some really good eggs!
