There are three sizes of Chinchilla rabbits; Standard, American and Giant. We chose the American for their medium size. They are a good meat and fur rabbit. Being larger than Rex makes them a better choice for feeding a family of three or more. The fur is not as plush as the Rex, but still very soft. It is the color pattern that makes the fur unique. Each strand has five distinct colors on it. We raise American Chinchillas throughout the year, so let us know what you are looking for.
